Differences in Hip-Hop Good
There have been a lot of very vocal members of the hip hop community who believe that the New York style of the genre is gone and that there should be some changes to modern hip hop to return it to that particular type of music. But this idea of hip hop that is going to go back to some old style of performing is annoying some people who suggest that there are an amazing number of modern hip hop artists working in New York right now who have their own style and should not be told that they need to use their fruity loops in exactly the same way as their predecessors.
Some of the loudest complaints of people who do not like the direction in which modern hip hop is going include suggestions that the rhythm and blues influence present in the artist known as Drake is not the right direction for the genre, nor is the lack of true creativity to a simpler style of lyrics that is often used by rappers in the south. Some people who are trying to hold on to an older hip hop ideal suggest that the genre is completely different these days and that there is no reason to listen to new artists because it lacks the right sort of history.
Some of the responses to such opinions that hip hop is dead today and that the genre will never recover suggest that the only reason some people want a change in modern hip hop to that which was present twenty years ago is because the old sounds of decades old hip hop is simply what those people grew up with and they want to experience their childhood or teenage years again.
